TUMI launches NEXTGEN Alpha in PH, guarantees durability with "Ballistic Nylon" tech

Following its global launch, TUMI yesterday showcased and formally launched the NEXTGEN Alpha Series in the Philippines.

At the showcase of the Alpha Series 4 at Monarch Manila, TUMI highlighted what's new with the lineup, including the improvements from the previous generation.

At the heart of TUMI's NEXTGEN Alpha bags is its signature FXT Ballistic Nylon tech. 

TUMI shared that this delivers superior durability and extreme abrasion resistance, supported by multiple test combinations including the Seam Strength, Tearing Strength, Zipper Cycling, and Water Repellency.

According to a quick search on its website, TUMI employs a dense, specialized weave enhanced by a patented coating that resists tearing and extreme abrasion. It has military‑grade origins. The foundation is heavy‑duty ballistic nylon, first engineered for flak jackets to deliver survival‑level strength.
