vivo T5x 5G launched: Dimensity 7400 Turbo, 7,200mAh battery, and dual IP ratings

vivo has expanded its budget 5G lineup in India with the launch of the T5x 5G, a successor to last year's T4x 5G.

Performance-focused midrange

The new model introduces several specification upgrades over its predecessor.

In terms of colors and design, the phone is available in Star Silver and Cyber Green. The device features a flat panel with a punch-hole cutout for the front camera. 3. Additionally, it features an IP68/69 dust and water resistance rating for added protection.

For the display, the handset features a 6.76-inch FHD+ LCD screen. The panel offers a 120Hz refresh rate and is suitable for everyday tasks such as messaging, social media browsing, and video playback.

The vivo T5x 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Turbo chipset with Mali-G615 MC2 GPU.

According to the company's claims, the processor can achieve an AnTuTu score exceeding 1 million, which may translate to smoother multitasking and improved gaming performance.

The phone is offered in three memory configurations: 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage.

Regarding battery and charging, the device houses a 7,200mAh battery. It supports 44W fast charging technology.

The camera system, it uses a 50MP Sony main sensor paired with a 2MP depth sensor. The front of the device houses an 8MP camera for selfies and video calls.

In terms of connectivity, the device supports WiFi 6 (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, GLONASS, Beidou, NFC, and dual SIM.

The phone runs on Android 16 with Origin OS 6.0, and vivo has promised two years of operating system updates along with four years of security patches.
