HONOR 600 Pro launched: Snapdragon 8 Elite, 7,000mAh battery, and 200MP main camera

After multiple leaks and teasers, the HONOR 600 Pro goes official today in Malaysia.

Another iPhone 17 look-alike?

The HONOR 600 Pro features a metal frame paired with a cold-carved glass back. The company offers the phone in three color options: Black, Orange, and Golden White. 

The orange variant in particular has drawn widespread comparisons to Apple's iPhone 17 Pro, sharing a similar hue and camera plateau layout. 

Meanwhile, it measures 7.8mm thin and weighs approximately 200 grams. 

The HONOR 600 Pro has also received the Swiss SGS 5-Star Premium Performance Certification for drop and crush resistance, as well as an IP68/69/69K dust and water resistance rating.

The phone's design

The phone is equipped with a 6.57-inch LTPS 10-bit OLED panel with a 1.5K 2,728 x 1,264  resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. 

The display reaches a peak brightness of 8,000 nits, HONOR says, enabling clear visibility in direct sunlight. The selfie camera is housed in a centered punch-hole cutout at the top of the screen.

Inside, the HONOR 600 Pro is powered by a 4.21GHz 3nm Snapdragon 8 Elite chip with Adreno GPU. It is paired with 12GB of RAM, and storage options include 256GB and 512GB configurations. 

For battery, HONOR 600 Pro houses a 7,000mAh silicon-carbon battery and charges using USB-C 80W SuperCharge and 50W wireless charging support.

In terms of cameras, the phone features a 200MP f/1.9 1/4" sensor with OIS + 12MP ultra-wide camera + 50MP 3.5x telephoto camera.

At the front, it uses a 50MP selfie shooter with 4K video recording.

Other features are stereo speakers and an AI button for quick app access.

Connectivity features are WiFi 7, 5G, 4G, Bluetooth 6.0, GPS, NFC, and dual SIM.

For OS, the device ships with MagicOS 10.0 based on Android 16 out of the box.

The phone is currently available in Malaysia. No word yet if HONOR will bring this here in the Philippines.
