POCO C81, C81x launched: UNISOC T7250, up to 6,300mAh battery, 13MP rear cameras

POCO launched the C81 and C81x in India as its latest budget-oriented 4G smartphones with long-term software support.

The two models bring incremental upgrades across display performance, battery capacity, and the overall software experience.

The Poco C81 is offered in Sunset Gold, Elite Black, and Sky Blue, while the C81x is available in Crystal Black and Ice Blue. Both devices carry an IP52 rating for splash resistance.

The POCO C81 sports a 6.9-inch HD+ display, while the C81x features a slightly smaller 6.88-inch HD+ panel.

Both screens support a 120Hz refresh rate for smoother scrolling and animations, and carry TÜV Rheinland certifications covering blue light reduction and flicker protection.

Additionally, bots also have Wet Touch Technology 2.0 on both models, a feature intended to maintain touch responsiveness when fingers are wet or oily.

Both smartphones are powered by the 1.8GHz 12nm Unisoc T7250 octa-core chipset, paired with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. 

The C81 comes in a single 4GB RAM and 64GB storage configuration, while the C81x ships with 3GB RAM and 64GB storage. Both models support microSD card expansion of up to 2TB.

The Poco C81 houses a 6,300mAh battery, whereas the C81x carries a 5,200mAh cell. Both devices support 15W fast charging as well as reverse charging.

On the imaging front, both phones feature a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front-facing camera.

 

The camera application includes modes such as HDR, Night Mode, AI Sky, portrait effects, and document scanning. Both devices are capable of recording 1080p video at 30 frames per second.

The C81 ships with Android 16 running Xiaomi HyperOS 3, while the C81x runs Android 15-based HyperOS 2.

Both smartphones will go on sale in India exclusively through Flipkart starting April 27. No word yet on PH availability.
