Samsung highlights Galaxy A27 5G gaming features

Following its official release, Samsung shares the benefits of the Galaxy A27's screen and performance with gamers.

Samsung claimed that mobile gaming has become a common group activity among Filipino social circles, often serving as a venue for team coordination and casual competition.

With that, the brand says Samsung Philippines is positioning its Galaxy A27 5G as a device for this market, citing the phone's processor, display, and software features.

To recap, the device is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor, which Samsung says supports responsiveness and multitasking during extended use. 

The device also features an Infinity-O display with slimmer bezels and a 120Hz refresh rate, intended to provide smoother visuals during gameplay and everyday use.

Furthermore, the phone includes several of Samsung's "Awesome Intelligence" AI features, previously limited to higher-end models in the Galaxy A series. These include an updated Circle to Search with Google function for visual searches, a Voice Transcription tool that converts recorded audio into text, and an Object Eraser tool for removing unwanted elements from photos.

The colorways

The device includes Samsung Knox Vault, a hardware-based security system designed to isolate sensitive data such as passwords and financial information. Samsung has also committed to providing six years of Android OS upgrades and six years of security updates for the device.

Again, the Galaxy A27 5G is available in Light Pink, Blue, and Black. The 6GB/128GB variant is priced at PHP18,990, while the 8GB/256GB variant is priced at PHP 21,990. 

Samsung is also offering a promotion through September 15, 2026, that includes a PHP 1,500 discount, a free travel adapter, and a free Jisu Life fan, for total savings of up to PHP 3,639.

The Galaxy A07 5G, a lower-priced model in the same lineup, is also available starting at PHP 8,490.
