Discord access is blocked in the Philippines

In accordance with the directive of the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC), local telcos have blocked Discord in the Philippines.

Cybercrime Investigation and Coordinating Center (CICC) clarified that only Reddit was granted an extension after committing to child safety measures, while Discord has not yet received one pending further talks.

They also flagged extremist communities on Discord linked to the radicalization of minors in recent school shooting incidents, and apologized for any confusion caused.

To recap, the Cybercrime Investigation and Coordinating Center (CICC) ordered Discord and Reddit to set up local offices within 24 hours, but only Reddit was granted an extension, leaving Discord inaccessible on most networks.
