OPPO A7 Pro 5G launched: Dimensity 6360 MAX, 8,000mAh, IP69K and 50MP camera

OPPO launches the A7 Pro 5G in China, positioned as an ultra-durable battery monster with a massive battery and an IP69K rating.

Even tougher than before?

The new A7 Pro 5G features a flexible AMOLED glass panel, an ultra-durable diamond-architecture polycarbonate flat frame, and a matte-finished polycarbonate rear panel. OPPO is proud of its new nature-inspired finishes called Riding the Waves (Light Blue), Every Step Blossoms (Gray-Pink), and the black colorway.

On the upper third of the rear panel is a horizontally aligned camera module.

The phone is 8.8mm thin and weighs 205 grams even though it houses a massive 8,000mAh battery. It has IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K dust and water resistance. 

In front is the 6.57-inch flexible AMOLED screen with a 2,372 x 1,080 resolution, a 1,400 nits peak brightness, a 240Hz touch sampling rate, and a 120Hz refresh rate. It supports 10.7 billion colors and covers 100 percent of the DCI-P3 color gamut.

Inside the phone is the MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Max octa-core processor, Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, UFS 2.2 storage, microSD card storage expansion, and an 8,000mAh battery with 45W SuperVOOC flash charge via USB-C.

At the back is the 50MP f/1.9 main camera, while in front is an 8MP f/2.1 selfie camera.

Other features include 5G, 4G LTE, WiFi 5, NFC, Bluetooth, Beidou, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, an in-display fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, and an IR blaster.
