New tablet and earbuds to complete OPPO ecosystem?

The company has not named the tablet, but the teaser and a recent Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) listing under model number OPD2516 suggest it is the OPPO Pad Mini. A Malaysian listing has also referenced a Pad Mini Matte Display Edition.

If it matches the Chinese model, the Pad Mini would feature an 8.8-inch 3:2 LTPO OLED display with 2.5K resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, and up to 1,800 nits of peak brightness.

It will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 and carries an 8,000mAh battery with 67W charging. The WiFi-only tablet has a 13MP rear camera, an 8MP front camera, a metal body about 5.4mm thick, a weight of 279g, and ColorOS 16.

Meanwhile, the Enco X4, part of OPPO’s flagship Enco X range, houses an 11mm woofer and a 6mm tweeter tuned with Dynaudio.

Features include Hi-Res Wireless and lossless playback, and active noise cancellation with four modes, which OPPO says can cut up to 99.8% of everyday noise.

Battery life is rated at up to 13 hours for the earbuds and 53 hours with the case using AAC with ANC off, falling to about 10 and 42 hours with LHDC.

The earbuds also offer Bluetooth 6.1, dual-device pairing, an IP55 rating, four microphones for calls, and AI real-time translation. The Chinese version is available in Pink Gold, Soft White, and Titanium Grey.
