OPPO Reno16 Series 5G and Pad SE share files and screens through O+ Connect

The Reno16 Pro 5G carries four 50MP cameras, while the Pad SE offers an 11-inch eye-care display.

OPPO says its Reno16 Series 5G smartphone and Pad SE tablet are designed to work together.

The phone is for capturing and creating, and the tablet extends that work to a larger screen for reviewing content, organizing ideas, and getting things done.

The Reno16 5G has what OPPO calls a Pocket Studio imaging experience. Its cameras are a 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, a 50MP telephoto portrait camera with 3.5x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultra-wide selfie camera.

AI tools add creative options. Pop Cam brings Digicam, Instant Film and Light Leak looks into the native Camera app, while AI Remix Collage and Motion Photo Popout 2.0 turn ordinary photos into more expressive content.

This is the OPPO Bubble

For group shots, OPPO Bubble with Camera Remote View lets users preview and control the phone’s camera remotely, so the person taking the photo can be in it too.

The phone also has AI tools for work and study. AI Mind Space keeps project references, travel tips and content ideas in one place, and Study Assistant draws on AI models including Gemini, Perplexity and ChatGPT to help users research topics and compare responses. OPPO said its Nano Second Smooth experience keeps everyday interactions fluid and responsive.

The Pad SE has an 11-inch Immersive Eye-Care Display with an anti-reflective matte screen and TÜV Rheinland certification, which OPPO said supports comfortable viewing during long use.

Its 9,340mAh battery supports up to 11 hours of video playback, and 33W SUPERVOOC fast charging helps reduce downtime. The tablet is 7.39mm thin and weighs 530g.

On the tablet, Google Gemini opens with a long press of the power button and helps with brainstorming and planning, OPPO said. AI Assistant for Notes and AI Intelligent Document support report writing, note formatting, and file translation.

O+ Connect ties the two devices together, with support for file transfers, screen mirroring, and drag-and-drop content sharing. OPPO said users can send photos taken on the Reno16 Series 5G to the Pad SE and continue working on them on the bigger screen, without moving files manually.

OPPO gave examples of how people might use the pairing. Students can capture class materials on the phone and transfer them to the tablet to review lessons, organize notes, or work on assignments. Young professionals can share project files, and creators can move photos and references to the larger screen.

The Reno16 Series 5G's iOS Bridge capabilities also make it easier to share with compatible iPhones, OPPO said.

The Reno16 Series 5G is available in the Philippines at the OPPO Online Store and OPPO Stores nationwide. The Pad SE is sold through OPPO’s official Shopee store in Twilight Blue and Starlight White.
