Motorola Moto Z And Moto Z Force With Moto Mods Launched

Yesterday, at the Lenovo Tech World, Motorola unveiled their latest flagship smartphone series packed with innovations not commonly found on modern handsets. Dubbed as the Moto Z and Moto Z Force, both devices comes features modular design that lets you customize the phones the way you want it.

First is the Moto Z, it's currently the thinnest premium smartphone in the world that's made out of military grade aircraft aluminum and stainless steel for that sturdy aesthetics. It features a 5.5 inch QHD AMOLED screen, Snapdragon 820 chip, 4 GB RAM and either 32 / 64 GB expandable ROM up to 2 TB.

On the battery side, it only has a 2,600 mAh of Li Pol battery, but promises up to 30 hours of usage on a single charge. It also has that TurboPower fast charging tech that can give you up to 8 hours of usage in 15 mins charging time.

There's also a 13 MP f/1.8 main cam w/ laser AF, OIS, and dual tone LED flash and a 5 MP f/2.2 wide angle selfie camera. The Moto Z has LTE connectivity, Bluetooth 4.2, fingerprint scanner, NFC and water resistance.

On the other hand, the Moto Z Force appears to be the rugged edition of the Moto Z.  It's packed with the second gen Moto ShatterShield technology that guarantees that your screen won't crack or shatter in case of hard drop.

It also goes with longer up to 40 hours of battery life and up to 15 hours of battery life in 15 mins of charging time. The cameras were upgraded to a 21 MP main camera w/ OIS, PDAF and Laser AF.

The highlight of their launch is the Moto Mods, it's their latest technology that allows you to transform the Moto Z to the purpose you want. Either you attach the JBL SoundBoost at the back, watch a 70 inch movie with Moto Insta-Share Projector or an extra Power Pack at adds up to 22 hours of battery life.

The Moto Z line also highlights fashonable design patterms from Kate Spade New York, TUMI and Incipio, Style Shells, choose premium materials (real wood, leather or patterned fabric) to fit the best for your lifestyle.

Overall, it appears that the Moto Mods is the better implementation of LG G5's modular design. However, there's no price and availability yet.
