To make up for that HUGE shortcoming or mistake, the company made sure that they'll have a phone for the selfie loving crowd this year.
The result? ASUS has launched not one, but two versions of their selfie phones in the country. The regular ZenFone 4 Selfie and the higher-end ZenFone Selfie Pro.

The ASUS ZenFone Selfie Pro arrived in a stylish metal unibody frame with 7.0 mm slimness and big enough 5.5 inch AMOLED screen in full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution at 401 pixels per inch. It has a 2.5D curved glass with Gorilla Glass for added protection.

Inside, this handset is powered by the same processor found with the ageing ZenFone 3, the Snapdragon 625. Don't get us wrong, that is still a very good performing and power efficient chipset with capable Adreno 506 graphics for mid-tier gaming.
Good overall specs!
ASUS paired it with either 3 GB or 4 GB of RAM, big enough 64 GB of expandable storage up to 128 GB using a micro SD card slot, and 3,000 mAh of battery. If you can recall, the same 3,000 mAh of juice was able to clock 14 hours of work battery life at PC Mark benchmark before. We're expecting the same performance with this one.

The exciting part of this device, the cameras. First it has a regular looking 16 MP f/2.0 main camera w/ PDAF behind. But, it has a dual camera setup in front for awesome selfies.
In particular it has a duo of 12 MP (24 MP) Sony IMX362 f/1.8 w/ Dual Pixel PDAF and 4K UHD video recording for sharp and great selfies even in lowlight and a 5 MP f/2.2 w/ 120 degrees wide angle lens for groufies!
