Aside from the new promising ZenFone 5 line, ASUS also launched the ZenFone Max (M1), the sibling of the ZenFone Max Plus M1.

It highlights a metal finish with 5.5-inch HD+ 18:9 screen and 82 percent screen-to-body ratio. Inside, it is powered by either Snapdragon 425 or 430 processors with 2GB or 3GB RAM, 16GB or 32GB expandable storage, and 4000mAh battery capacity.

At the back, it goes with either 16MP or 13MP + 8MP 120-degree wide-angle lens w/ PDAF focus and LED flash. In front, it goes with a 13MP or 8MP selfie camera.

ASUS also boasts that it has both the fingerprint scanner and face unlock technologies.

There's no word on its global release yet, but the Snapdragon 425 / 2GB RAM / 16GB ROM variant of the ASUS ZenFone Max (M1) is now on pre-order in Russia for RUB 12,990 or around PHP 12K.
