Previously, we reported that the new Samsung Galaxy J1 is now on sale in Dubai with an asking price of around 6.5K in Philippine Peso. Fortunately, that international SRP is not the case here in our country as we spotted the Galaxy J1 in a much lower rate here.

In case you missed it, this new handset by Samsung features a 4.5 Inch 800 x 480 Super AMOLED screen, 1.2 GHz unknown type of quad core processor, 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of expandable ROM and 2,050 mAh of battery capacity.

It also has a 5 MP shooter at the back with AF and LED flash and a 2 MP selfie camera. However, as far as connectivity is concerned, we are not sure if the unit we're getting here have LTE connectivity or not compared with the international variant of the J1.
Note: This article was edited as we previously thought that the Galaxy J1 we have here is the Exynos variant. Instead it appears to be a different one that's slightly lowered clocked at just 1.2 GHz against 1.3 GHz.
