Samsung Gear Fit 2 And Gear IconsX Earbuds Announced

Earlier, Samsung just announced two new wearable devices. Dubbed as the Samsung Gear Fit 2 and Samsung Gear IconX wireless earbids, those gadgets were designed towards individuals who has an active lifestyle.

The Gear Fit 2 is the updated version of the original gear fit two years back. This now has a more ergonomic design and its own GPS sensor. This wearable rocks a 1.5 inch curved Super AMOLED screen with 432 x 216 pixels. It's powered by a dual core 1 GHz processor, 512 MB RAM, 4 GB ROM and 200 mAh of battery capacity.

It also have a a heart rate monitor sensor, IP68 water and dust resistance, can play music and loads Tizen OS out of the box.

The Gear Fit 2 is compatible with most Android phones that have at least 1.5 GB RAM and Android 4.4 Kitkat. It comes in two strap sizes and 3 color variants (black, blue, pink) and priced at USD 179.99 which will be available this June 10 for the US market.

On the other hand, the Gear IconX is a unique truly wireless earbuds that provides a lightweight, secure and comfortable fit which can be activated by just putting it in your ear. It also has various fitness tracking capabilities such as measuring distance, speed, duration, heart rate and calories burned.

It also includes a voice guide feature that allows instance voice feedback on the user's workout progress and easily syncs with S Health. It can store up to 1,000 MP3s and just need to tap or swipe for controls.

The Gear IconX will be available in Q3 of 2016 without an SRP and date of availability yet.
