Globe Telecom Is The Most Awarded PH Telco This 1H Of 2016!

According to the recent press release of Globe Telecoms, they just shared that they're the most awarded PH telco operator for 1H of 2016. Those awards were given to the company by various institutions as a true sign of excellence.

Globe Telecom was declared first runner-up in the Best in Ethics & Governance category during the Asean Corporate Sustainability Awards 2016. “The string of awards given to Globe testify to the company’s  excellence in creating shared value to all our stakeholders even in the face of intense industry competition amid a continuing customer adoption of a digital lifestyle,” Globe Senior Vice President for Corporate Communications Yoly Crisanto said.

Two of the awards given to Globe Telecoms are the Frost & Sullivan Philippines Telecom Service Provider of the Year Award and Mobile Service Provider of the Year Award. Those awards were given to Globe for demonstrating strong growth and performance. The awards were evaluated based on the number of subscribers, subscriber growth, revenue growth, EBITDA margin and net margin.

Aside from that, Globe was also named by Frost & Sullivan Asia Pacific as Telecom Service Provider of the Year award for 2016 earlier this year in recognition of the company's success last in the previous year.

Note: Frost & Sullivan Best Practices Awards recognize companies in a variety of regional and global markets for demonstrating outstanding achievement and superior performance in areas such as leadership, technological innovation, customer service, and strategic product development.

The company also gained recognition from Institutional Investor, a leading international to business to business publisher, Globe President & CEO Ernest Cu came out second place in the Overall Best CEO category for Telecommunications, and third place Sell-Side Best CEO category.

Globe was also recognized recently as an “Honored Company” as the company secured at least one Top Three position in the Telecommunications sector.

Charlton East Coles, an independent market research firm, gave two important citations on Globe Telecom. The company was named Philippines Company of the Year 2016 Top 15 and Philippines Diversified Telecommunications Services Company of the year 2016, based on a survey of fund managers and analysts into their perceptions of Asia’s largest corporates.  

Globe Telecom also was declared first runner-up in Best in Ethics and Governance Award at the ASEAN Corporate Sustainability Awards 2016. It's a category that recognizes their commitment of organizations towards great governance and business ethics over and beyond compliance needs to successfully drive businesses.
