Huawei Nova And Nova Plus Now Official, Midrange Phones With Powerful Cameras!

At the IFA 2016, Huawei has announced their latest smartphone line, Nova. Dubbed as Nova and Nova Plus, they are midrange handsets with beautiful metal build, Qualcomm chips, and powerful cameras.

Huawei Nova

The Huawei Nova sports a smaller 5 inch FHD screen with 1920 x 1080 resolution with sleek 2.5D curved glass. Under the hood, there's a Snapdragon 625 octa core chip paired with Adreno 506 GPU, 3 GB RAM, and 32 GB internal storage expandable to 128 GB.

It also has a 3,020 mAh of battery capacity with a promised up to 2 days of battery life in average usage. Then there's a single 12 MP main camera w/ f/2.2 aperture and larger 1.25 micron pixels that's expected to take great photos for its class. In front, there's an 8 MP shooter with f/2.0 aperture.

The handset also has LTE connectivity, fingerprint scanner behind, and hybrid dual SIM card slots.

Huawei Nova Plus

The Huawei Nova Plus on the other hands is the bigger and slightly better handset on paper. It boast a 5.5 inch FHD screen w/ 2.5D curved glass, larger 3,340 mAh of battery, and 16 MP main camera w/ OIS (optical image stabilization). The rest of the specs is about the same with the regular Nova.

The Huawei Nova and Nova Plus will be available in several color variants that includes titanium grey, mystic silver, prestige gold, and rose gold (Nova only).

The Nova and Nova Plus will be launched in Europe this early October with an SRP of 399 Euros and 429 Euros respectively.
