Sony Fair 2016: Experience The Best Of Sony At BGC High Street

Few days back, Sony Philippines has opened their very first Sony Fair. Located at the BGC High Street, the fair aims to highlight Sony's latest innovations through an immersive showcase in a ten-day event from December 9 to 18, 2016. It includes flagship products from their mobile, digital imaging, home entertainment, personal audio, and gaming lines.

There are also interactive displays, community activities, and workshops that's designed to enable customers to envision the way Sony devices can fuel their lifestyle.

Sony Bravia

At the first stop, customers will be greeted by Sony Bravia's stunning television showcase that features the latest X93000D 4K HDR TV that delivers the finest contrast, colors, texture, and detail possible on screen. Sony’s Z9D 4K HDR television is also highlighted there which can be partnered with HT-ST9 Soundbar w/ WiFi and Bluetooth. Families and friends can enjoy the best of Sony Bravia at Sony’s Bravia Movie Nights on the evenings of December 10, 11, 17, and 18.

Next is at Sony's PlayStation display where they exhibit some of the best games this year such as Final Fantasy XV, Just Dance, and NBA2K17. PlayStation VR Headset is also there for your immersive gaming experience.

The MDR-Z1R

For audio enthusiast, Sony's Extra Bass (regular consumers) and Hi-Res (nitpicky audiophiles) booths can also be found at the fair. It includes Sony's top of the line personal audio Bluetooth devices like MDR-XB650BT EXTRA BASS headphones, DR-1000X Noise-Canceling headphones, and SRS-XB3 portable wireless speakers. For me the main highlight there is the MDR-Z1R for audiophiles which is one of the best headphone in the world right now that retails for PHP 104,999!

There will also be a Hi-Res Audio workshop featuring Sony Ambassador and Creative Director for Live Events and Concerts Juno Oebanda on December 11 and Extra Bass DJ Workshop and Silent Party with DJ Rammy Bitong on December 10 and Feel the Passion Dance Clinic featuring Upeepz Dance Crew on December 17.

Sony's High-Res car audio line that delivers great tunes for your car also has their own booth at the fair.

Sony Xperia booth

If you are a mobile phone aficionado, the Sony Xperia booth is a must not miss station there. It features the hottest mobile devices in the world right now that includes the Sony Xperia XZ flagship with triple image sensing technology for the best mobile photography experience.

Mobile photography workshops conducted by Xperia Ambassadors Pierre Guevarra, Linus Banaag and Marvin Conanan on December 10, 11, and 18 will teach Xperia fans how to take perfect self-portraits and master urban photography while trying some of this year’s top launches including the Xperia X, XA, XA Ultra, and XZ. There will also be a chance for select Xperia fans will get the chance to win some of these devices through an on-the- spot mobile photography contest on December 17.

Alpha and Cyber-Shot

The latest Alpha and Cyber-Shot cameras for photographers, content creators, and enthusiasts is found at Sony Digital Imaging booth. For photography tips, there will be workshops by renowned photographers and cinematographers Pilar Trigo Bonnin, Paco Guerrero, Nina Sandejas, and Mayad Studios where they'll teach visual storytelling, glamour portraiture, same day-edit videography, and music photography.

For flat lay, toy, travel, and fashion photography, Sony Ambassadors Kimi Juan, Jelito de Leon, Sheng Gonzales and Charisma Lico will be there on December 17 and 18.
