Apple iPhone 7 In Red And iPad 9.7 2017 Now Official

Apple has launched the gorgeous red colored special edition models of the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus together with a 2017 edition of iPad 9.7 last night.

Also known as the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus (PRODUCT)RED Special Edition, its an iPhone specially crafted in celebration of the year partnership of Apple and (RED). Apple also stated that this gives their customers an "unprecedented" way to contribute to the Global Fund with a goal of making the world AIDS-free.

“Since we began working with (RED) 10 years ago, our customers have made a significant impact in fighting the spread of AIDS through the purchase of our products, from the original iPod nano (PRODUCT)RED Special Edition all the way to today’s lineup of Beats products and accessories for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch,” said Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO. “The introduction of this special edition iPhone in a gorgeous red finish is our biggest (PRODUCT)RED offering to date in celebration of our partnership with (RED), and we can’t wait to get it into customers’ hands.”

It still has the speedy and powerful specs and capable cameras that made the 7th generation iPhones special.

The new iPad 9.7

Along with the new iPhone colors, Apple has also introduced the new and more affordable iPad 9.7 2017 to replace the old iPad Air 2.

It's equipped with a 9.7 inch Retina screen w/ 2048 x 1536 resolution w/  oleophobic coating at 264 pixels per inch. Inside, it boast the Apple A9 chip of last year, 32 GB / 128 GB internal storage, 8 MP f/2.4 BSI main camera, 1.2 MP HD Facetime camera, WiFi ac, Bluetooth 4.2, LTE connectivity, Touch ID, GPS, GLONASS, gyroscope (3-axis), and IOS 10 OS.

Both the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus (PRODUCT)RED Special Edition will be available in 128 GB and 256 GB models with a price that starts at USD 749 (Around PHP 38K). Both phones will available worldwide beginning Friday, March 24 and start shipping to customers by the end of March in the US and more than 40 countries.

The new iPad 9.7 2017 will come in silver, gold and space gray with a price that starts at USD 329 (prices may vary). It'll be available for pre-order starting March 24 through select carriers in more than 20 countries.
