Huawei Philippines just took three awards at the recently concluded 2017 Philippine Quill Awards, a prestigious annual award giving body in the country.

Quill Awards is given by International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) Philippines to honor companies and creative agencies that displayed excellence in business communication.

In particular, Huawei Philippines took an Award of Excellent in three separated categories: Marketing, Advertising and Brand Communications, Media Relations and Social Media Programs for its campaign entitled Huawei: The Making of a Challenger Brand Through the Introduction of the Huawei P9.

The "The Making of a Challenger Brand Through the Introduction of the Huawei P9" campaign was developed in in collaboration with Ogilvy Public Relations-Pulse Communications Manila also scored two Gold Anvils in the recently concluded 52nd Anvil Awards.

The campaign by Huawei PH x Ogilvy Public Relations-Pulse Communications made the Huawei P9 the most googled Huawei smartphone in the country with over 110 million PR values.

It outsold its predecessor by five times and tripled the brand's market share in just six months as well.
