LTFRB Suspends Uber For 1 Month In PH
The press release of LTFRB

LTFRB is ordering all Uber TNVS cease and desist all online booking operation as they're under the suspension now starting August 14, 2017. It means that Uber drivers cannot operate until September 14, 2017.

LTFRB is strongly recommended to extend financial assistance to all its affected operators during the suspension period as a sign of good faith.

LTFRB mentioned that this would have not happened to the peer-operators of Uber if the company's actions were non-predatory.

In case you missed it, both Uber and Grab are in dispute with LTFRB over the scope of regulation on eide sharing services. Both were also fined by PHP 5M each.

Now, let's all hope that both the Government and UBER will have a solution for this issue soon.

But, unfortunately, Uber is really considered as illegal starting today for one whole month.

What do you think guys?

Is this fair a fair suspension?
