While this doesn't confirm yet, it is a good indicator of what to expect. The iPhone 8 and 8 Plus will have subtle changes from the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, but aesthetic wise, it will still have the same industrial looking designs. It still going to have glass backs, the new A11 chips and wireless charging capabilities using the Qi charging pad.

As with iPhone X, this will be considered as the most premium of the three. It sports the most changes with a 5.2 inch OLED display that has nearly no bezels on all sides. It has a space up top to accomodate the front facing camera. 3D sensors and earpiece.

The rest of the specs for the iPhone X will include the FaceID, cameras that will most probably boast OIS in both lenses, ability to record 4K footage at 60 FPS. The 3D sensors will be used for the new Animoji wherein the sensors will be recognize your facial reactions and mirror it on the Messages app.

We will all find out if these are true on September 15 when Apple officially launch their new devices including the new Apple Watch and a 4K Apple TV.
