The Doogee Mix 2 is one of the most gorgeous smartphone in its price range. In addition, it has capable specs as well.

But on top of that, Doogee highlights its "quad camera" setup. In particular, Doogee claims that it has a 16MP + 13MP f/1.8 dual camera with PDAF and dual tone LED flash at the back.

In front, it goes with an 8MP f/2.8 + 8MP f/2.2 cameras with 130-degree wide angle lens.

Unfortunately, we can't find the pupose of the secondary cam for the "dual camera" setup at the back. The blur and monochrome mode looks quite artificial too.
But fortunately, the camera quality of this phone is still a clear step-up versus the first Doogee Mix last year.
Shooting speed is fast so far. It shoots well in daylight with well balanced colors and decent hint of saturation as well. Dyanmic range acceptable though not that wide. HDR mode is pleasant in the eyes even if it is a bit overexposed. Lowlight performance needs improvement even if it has a "bright" f/1.8 aperture size.
For selfies, it is just alright. In bright daylight condition, it is fine in performance. But, not that impressive. Auto mode is a bit violetish. It has no flash for lowlight selfies too.
The wide-angle mode with barrel distortion is fun to use for groufies! Color quality is identical with the primary selfie cam.
