OnePlus 6 will come with a notch, confirmed!

According to Carl Pei, the co-founder of OnePlus, the upcoming OnePlus 6 flagship smartphone will come with the controversial notch.

But according to him, they will be adding more screen real estate instead of taking anything away. Moreover, the notch will have a smaller look verus the competition. It'll measure at just 19.62 x 7.69 mm. It'll also come with 90 percent screen-to-body ratio.

It will be larger than the Essential PH-1, but it'll be smaller than the iPhone X. It'll contain a smaller camera sensor and an earpiece. It'll also have a camera-based face recognition technology.

In the other news, the OnePlus 6 will come with Qualcomm's new flagship chipset, the Snapdragon 845. It also has A.I. and Adreno 630 gaming grade GPU.

It could also load with at least 6GB RAM to 8GB RAM, Dash Charge ready battery, dual camera setup, physical fingerprint scanner behind, and the latest version of Android.

Previously, a leaked benchmark data revealed that it scored 276,510 in AnTuTu. It's the highest scoring upcoming Android smartphone yet.

Carl Pei also revealed that the OnePlus 6 will retain the 3.5 mm headphone jack.
