Samsung announces the Galaxy J7 Prime 2 with 13MP f/1.9 selfie camera in India

Meanwhile in India, Samsung has silently launched a slightly upgraded variant of the popular Galaxy J7 Prime last 2016, the Galaxy J7 Prime 2.

The Galaxy J7 Prime 2 with the model number SM-G611F still shares the same design and most of the key specs found on the older Galaxy J7 Prime.

It still has the 5.5-inch FHD TFT screen, 3GB RAM, 32GB storage, and the 13MP f/1.9 lens like before. Inside the phone still runs with the same and ageing 1.6GHz Exynos 7870 octa-core processor.

Samsung upgraded the selfie camera though. From 8MP f/1.9, it is now at 13MP f/1.9. Samsung also updated its software to Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS and added the Samsung Mall app and Samsung Pay Mini.
