Samsung Galaxy J2 (2018) with 5-inch AMOLED screen now official

Samsung has launched the Galaxy J2 (2018). It's a budget smartphone packed with a 5-inch qHD 960 x 540 Super AMOLED screen.

Inside, the device has entry-level specs. It is powered by an unknown Qualcomm Snapdragon quad-core SOC. It is paired with 2GB RAM, 16GB expandable storage, and 2,600mAh battery.

On the camera part, it has an 8MP primary camera and a 5MP selfie shooter. The primary camera can record up to 1080p 30 fps in quality. Both cameras has LED flash for lowlight snaps.

The phone also has WiFi 802.11 b/g/n 2.4GHz and accelerometer and proximity sensors. There's no word if it has LTE connectivity and the exact Android version though.

It also has the Samsung Mall that uses artificial intelligence to power a new way to shop online.

The Samsung Galaxy J2 (2018) measures at 143.8 x 72.3x 8.4 mm. It is priced at INR 8,190 or around PHP 6.3K in India.

We still have no word if it'll be available in the Philippines yet.
