Facebook wants to do their own take of this by helping businesses grow and overall the country's economy.

Facebook does this by providing SMEs with education programs that will give them tools to adapt and succeed. Larger businesses can unlock growth by embracing the new mobile strategies. This is a great step since almost 87 percent of the Filipino internet users are on social networks.

Messenger, for instance, allow businesses to interact and respond to their customers in real-time. Large businesses are educated about the importance of transforming their companies in digital businesses. Almost 86 percent of Filipino business leaders believe that the future is in companies' ability to transform and adapt in the digital age.

Facebook is also providing a great platform for collaboration and workflow through Workplace by Facebook. Employees at Meralco, PSBank, and 7-Eleven are alreadt using this to connect and create efficient workflows.
