PayMaya officially brought the cashless payment in the home of the Mayon volcano in partnership with LCC (Liberty Commercial Center, Inc.) on May 18, 2018.

LCC operates the largest network of malls, supermarkets, and department store chains in Bicol region.
Bicolanos can now get their EMV-powered PayMaya cards and top it up at select LCC stores across the region. Shopping and paying through scanning PayMaya QR codes displayed in the cashier area of more than 70 branches of LCC Department Store, LCC Supermarket, LCC Market Savers, LCC Market Plus, LCC Store Plus, and LCC Expressmart.

The mobile money and payments company gives out a special treat to Bicolanos. Those who will purchase anything at LCC store chains and pay using their PayMaya Card or PayMaya QR will get 25% cashback on their pruchases, with a maximum discount of PHP 500 per LCC store format, per day.
With partners like LCC, we can all help achieve the government's target of 20% of transactions going digital by the year 2020, especially as more cashless communities like Bicol go onboard with this mission all around the country, said Orlando B. Vea, President and CEO of PayMaya Philippines.
Carlo Aquino also joined the PayMaya launch in LCC Legazpi in Bicol and tried himself the "cashless" shopping on the department store. He shared that it was so easy and convenient, he being a first-time user.

PayMaya first became available in Metro Manila and expanded in different regions across the country.
