MediaTek's Helio P70 Scores 156,906 on AnTuTu

MediaTek is gearing up for the release of the new Helio P70 mid-range chipset that recently popped up on AnTuTu with a score of 156,906 benchmark.

The Helio P70 is rumored to be built on the 12 nm architecture, and is expected to have an octa-core CPU, Mali-G72 MP4 GPU with Category 13 LTE modem.

The Helio P70 just beat the scores of the Helio X30, Snapdragon 660 and the Exynos 7872. It is expected to be unveiled during MEW 2018. The breakdown of the result: In CPU, it scored 73,969. In the GPU department, it scored 30,737 which lags behind with some of its competitors.

In terms of UX scores, the Helio P70 scored 41,089 which is only outperformed by the Helio X30 which is a flagship SoC. The RAM department saw the Helio P70 lead everyone with a score of 11,111. The overall score almost reached the 157K mark which is enough to beat the Snapdragon 821 and the Snapdragon 835.

MediaTek has not released of smartphone manufacturers that are going to use the Helio P70. As more information is released, we are surely going to update you guys. As of now, stay tuned!
