LG G7: First Camera Samples
Better cameras than ever?

Aside from its improved specs and design, the LG G7 also sports a new dual camera setup. It has better specs than the LG G6 last year.

In particular, it goes with a 16MP f/1.6 w/ 71-degree wide-angle lens + 16MP f/1.9 w/ 107-degree wide-angle lens w/ PDAF, laser AF, OIS, and LED flash.

For selfies, LG improved its camera from 5MP to 8MP f/1.9 w/ 80-degree wide-angle lens.

Here's our some of our first few shots taken with the LG G7.

The first camera samples we took with the LG G7 are promising. Most of our daylight shots has crisp details and good color reproduction and accuracy. White balance is mostly on point too.

The wide-angle mode has less distortion and a bit better details as well. But, it isn't as wide compared with the G6 last year.

My concern is its lowlight performance. It is decent, but not superior to its competitors. The lowlight shot taken with the secondary camera soft and grainy.

The selfie camera is just alright. Lowlight performance needs improvement though.
