Samsung announces winners of the Galaxy S9, S9+ SamsungSOTD challenge

Samsung held the Galaxy S9 and S9+ Slow-Mo of the day challenge a few months back. They announced the winners with Jonathan Carino winning the top prize.

Jonathan Carino is the winner of Samsung's SOTD challenge

Carino won a 9-day trip for two to Iceland inclusive of round trip business class tickets, 5-star hotel accommodation and more. There are also 10 winners of a Samsung 55-inch Smart UHD TV. The rest of the winners can be found in this link.

Carino's winning entry features performers spinning metal cubes at a beach side event in Calaguas Island. He was amazed by the beautiful yet dangerous act so he whipped out his Samsung Galaxy S9 and tested the super slow-mo feature. Carino will enjoy his first trip overseas with this trip to Iceland. He said that he still can't believe he won.

The Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ has a Dual Aperture feature that allows users to take high quality photos in low or bright conditions. The Super Slow-Mo feature allows users to record videos up to 960 frames per second.

Samsung is also announcing a special offer. You can enjoy up to PHP 5,000 worth of discounts to any Samsung mobile items such as smartphones, tablets, wearables and accessories if you purchase a Samsung Galaxy S9 or S9+ from June 14 to July 8, 2018.
