It is finally available locally!

The good news? It is now available in the Philippines at Villman stores for PHP 9,600.

In case you missed it, new GoPro Hero 2018 retains most of the physical appearance of the previous model and is clearly focused for new users and/or beginners.

It has a 2-inch touch screen display with voice commands with a simplified menu. This is supplemented by the voice commands to add another way to interact with the camera.

It is waterproof up to 33 feet which means you can take a shallow dip with the camera.

The camera inherits the stabilization from the GoPro Hero 5 wherein it crops the footage by 10 percent that users will love.

It does shoot up to 1440p at 60 fps but at a 4 x 3 aspect ration instead of the usual wider aspect ratio.

It is priced at PHP 9,600 which may be a tall order for some people given that some more affordable cameras offer 4K video recording.
