Honor to release a new phone this July 24!

Chinese smartphone brand Honor is set to unveil a new device this coming July 24.

The big reveal will be held in India as it already sent out invites with the tagline #NoOrdinaryBeauty.

Honor 9i

Although it is not clear on what smartphone will be released, industry sources said Honor may launch the newly-introduced 9i in the country, which will be called Honor 9X. 

The smartphone will boast a 5.84-inch IPS LCD display, with a 1080 x 2280  resolution. The device will also sport the trendy notch.

For its optics, the device will tout a dual rear setup composed of 13MP and 2MP, while its selfie camera will have 16MP. 

Inside the Honor 9X will be Hi-Silicon Kirin 659, and a 3,000 mAh battery. It has 4GB RAM and can be coupled with 64GB or 128GB ROM.

In China, the Honor 9i is priced at USD 218 or around PHP 11,600. 

The new phone's local launch as well as its availability is yet to be announced.
