Huawei finally unveils Kirin 710, the chipset of Nova 3i!

Given Huawei Nova 3i's launch in the Philippines, the Chinese company also unveiled one of the device's highlights: the in-house HiSilicon Kirin 710 chipset.

As Kirin 659 SoC started to lose its appeal in the industry in 2017, Huawei decided to formally announced the Kirin 710.

With the Kirin 710, the Chinese smartphone brand wanted to bring the 12 nm node to the masses as this provides better performance and power efficiency gains.

The new chipset offers 75 percent better single-core and 68 percent improved multi-core speeds as it is equipped with four high-performance Cortex-A73 cores clocked at 2.2GHz and four low-power Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.7GHz.

Its GPU, meanwhile, is Mali-G51 MP4, believed to be 1.3 times faster than the previous graphics card. It also has support for the GPU Turbo which could improve the graphics performance up to 60 percent while saving up to 30 percent power.

Aside from that, the Nova 3i's cameras can still capture great photos even in low-light conditions, thanks to the upgraded DSP and ISP. 

Huawei Nova 3i's dual SIM and dual 4G VoLTE should also be noted, along with LTE Cat. 12 and Cat. 13. 

Industry sources expect Huawei will disclose more information about the Kirin 710 in the future!

As the Chinese group continues to release premium devices, it's pretty obvious it would keep its status as one of the known smartphone brands in the world.
