Nikon announces COOLPIX P1000 camera with 3000 mm equivalent lens with 125x optical zoom!

Nikon has announced the COOLPIX P1000 compact digital camera with 125x optical zoom because of a zoom range between 24 mm to 3000 mm equivalent.

The new Nikon CoolPix P1000!

It even zooms digitally up to 250x when Dynamic Fine Zoom is enabled.

It runs on an upgraded Nikon's EXPEED processor that allows for stunning image quality and Dual Detect Vibration Reduction (VR) of up to 5 stops even when handheld. 

It comes with 2359 k-dot OLED electronic viewfinder and it supports 4K UHD at 30fps video recording with the full zoom range and the Vibration Reduction.

It also has a vari-angle TFT LCD monitor that allows for comfortable viewing and wider viewing angles.

Lastly, you can record timelapse and superlapse movies and because it supports SnapBridge, you can transfer files and control the camera remotely from your smart device.

We are not sure if it will reach our shores though.
