Realme 2 to launch with 6.2-inch display, Snapdragon 450 SoC, and a 4,230 mAh battery

The Realme 2 is set to launch in India on August 28. It was seen in a Flipkart advert page with few information revealed as well as about the specs.

The Realme 2 is a follow up to the first Realme. The Realme 2 is set to have a 6.2-inch HD+ display with a notch on top. It will have a 19:9 aspect ratio which is on-par with the trend.

Inside, it will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor with an Adreno 506 GPU. There will be two variants which are the 3GB/32GB version and the 4GB/64GB version. It is also set to have a 4,230mAh battery and a micro SD slot to expand the storage for up to 256GB.

The cameras will sport a 13MP + 2MP dual rear camera setup and an 8MP front-facing camera. The front camera will have an AI Beautification 2.0, HDR, and bokeh mode. The fingerprint reader will be found at the back of the device with face unlock also an option.

The Realme 2 will run Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box with ColorOS 5.14 on top. It will also have dual SIM dual-VoLTE slots as well. It will be available in Diamond Red, Diamond Blue and Diamond Black.

Interestingly, it has lower specs versus the first Realme.

We will find out on August 28 if this leak is correct!
