GPU Turbo 2.0 has improved performance and supports more games

The introduction of Huawei's GPU Turbo technology was met with great reception. The improvement on overall performance especially in games is a great update.

Now, they are releasing a new and improved version with the GPU Turbo 2.0. Huawei and Honor smartphones can expect improved gaming experience once again as well as a few more popular titles that are now optimized for the 2.0 version/

The GPU Turbo 2.0 will be a part of the new EMUI 9.0 which is the tech giant's UI on top of the Android 9.0 Pie OS. Huawei promises improved gaming performance, new app assistant dedicated to gaming and the aforementioned extended list of supported games.

The improvements in performance include better input latency, boasting a 36 percent reduction. This means that touchscreen inputs will have less of a delayed response time ensuring accurate game movements and commands. Furthermore, Huawei promises better frame rates or FPS while maintaining power consumption optimization.

The new game app assistant will block any notifications or distractions that might distract you from the game you are playing. 

GPU Turbo 2.0 extends support on the following titles as well:

- NBA 2K18- Rules of Survival- Arena of Valor- Vainglory

Other games with GPU Turbo support are PUBG Mobile and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang.

Huawei has yet to announce the official release date and compatible devices for the GPU Turbo 2.0.
