LG V40 ThinQ will be launched on October 3!

The South Korean firm already revealed the official launch of V40 ThinQ through its blog post. Also in a video post, the company seemed like confirming earlier leaks of a possible triple camera setup!

The date set on October 3 is earlier than what was expected, industry sources said.

According to its post, the main event will be held in New York City, while the secondary launch will be in Seoul, South Korea on the next day.

Previous reports said the V40 ThinQ will sport a 6.5-ich P-OLED capacitive touchscreen with 1440 x 3120 pixels, 18:19 ratio. It is also said to be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

The flagship smartphone is also joining the hype as it will have a notched screen display with curved edges, but users can opt to hide this feature.

The device will also be packed with 256GB/128GB of internal storage, expandable up to 512 via a microSD card, with 8GB/6GB RAM.

For its optics, it may boast a triple camera setup for its main camera, composed of 16 MP f/1.6, 13 MP f/1.9, and 8 MP 80mm, 3x optical zoom.

Reports said the third camera is aimed at giving a telephoto function, or a sensor to provide better photos even in the dark.

Its selfie shooter, however, is believed to only feature 8MP f/1.9.

For security, it may have a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.

Only a few more weeks left until we see the LG V40 ThinQ, are you excited?

Stay tuned!
