We are in Q4 of 2018 which means that there are a lot of new beastly flagships released already. However, not everyone has the money to spend for those expensive high-end phones.

For us these 2017 flagships are still viable in our opinion. We listed 5 2017 flagship smartphones that are still worth to buy in 2018.

1. Huawei Mate 10 Series - The Mate 10 series has some of the best flagship smartphones in 2017. First off, the Huawei Mate 10 has a 5.9-inch QHD IPS display with Gorilla Glass protection. It is running a 2.36GHz Kirin 970 octa-core processor with NPU and i7 co-processor, Mali G72 MP12 GPU, 4GB RAM with 64GB ROM and a 4,000 mAh battery with 5A Super Charge.

It has a 20MP f/1.6 monochrome + 12MP f/1.6 RGB dual Leica camera setup with 4-in-1 Hybrid AF, OIS, 2x zoom, and dual tone LED flash. The selfie camera has an 8MP f/2.0 sensor with screen flash.

The Mate 10 Pro has almost the same specs except for the 6-inch FHD+ OLED display with Gorilla Glass Protection, 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

The Mate 10 is now down to PHP 27,990 while the Mate 10 Pro is now down to PHP 33,990.

2. LG G6 - Usually going for PHP 22,599, the LG G6 has a 5.7-inch QHD+ display with Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It has a 2.4GHz Snapdragon 821 quad core processor, Adreno 530 GPU. 4GB RAM with 64GB UFS 2.0 expandable storage, and a 3,300mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0.

The main cameras has a dual 13MP f/1.8 + 13MP f/2.4 wide angle lens with PDAF and dual tone LED flash. It also has a 5MP f/2.2 wide angle selfie sensor.

3. OnePlus 5T - Going for PHP 25,490, the OnePlus 5T has a 6.01-inch FHD Optic AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass 5. Inside, it has a 2.35GHz Snapdragon 835 octa-core processor, Adreno 540 GPU, 8GB of RAM, 128GB of expandable storage and 3,300mAh battery with Dash Charge 4A.

It sports a dual camera setup with a 16MP f/1.7 Sony IMX398 + 20MP f/1.7 Sony MX376K with PDAF, EIS 2X zoom and dual LED flash. For selfies, it has a 16MP f/2.0 Sony IMX371 sensor with EIS.

It has a dual Zeiss camera setup at the back with 13MP OIS + 13MP f/2.0 monochrome sensor with PDAF, IR Range Finder and dual tone LED flash. It also has a 13MP f/2.0 selfie sensor with PDAF and 78.4 degree wide angle lens.

5. Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 - For only PHP 19,990, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 has a 5.99-inch FHD+ display. It runs a 2.45GHz Snapdragon 835 octa-core processor, Adreno 540, 6GB of RAm with 64GB storage and a 3,400mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0.

It has a 12MP f/2.0 Sony IMX386 with PDAF, OIS and dual tone LED flash. It also a 5MP selfie camera.

6. Sony Xperia XZ1 - For just PHP 21,990, the Sony Xperia XZ1 has a 5.2-inch FHD HDR Triluminos display with Gorilla Glass 5. It runs a 2.45GHz Snapdragon 835 octa-core processor, Adreno 540, 4GB of RAM with 64GB expandable storage and a 2,700mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0.

It has a 19MP f/2.0  Exmor RS main camera with Motion Eye, Hybrid AF, SteadyShot and dual tone LED flash. It also a 13MP f/2.0 Exmor RS selfie camera.

There you guys have it. These flagships are still flagships even after a year so they are a steal if you get them during a massive price cut sale.
