Alleged AnTuTu listing of the Razer Phone 2

The AnTuTu listing revealed that the device will be dubbed as the Razer Phone 2. According to the benchmark app, the handset will feature a screen with 2560 x 1440 resolution.

Interestingly, it is the same resolution found on the original Razer phone. It would also mean that the possible upcoming gaming smartphone won't come with the modern 18:9 or 19:9 screen aspect ratio with notch.

Most likely, Razer used the old 16:9 screen aspect ratio as it supports more games than the newer screen ratios.

According to the source, it will also have the Qualcomm Q-Sync display technology, and has a screen refresh rate of up to 120Hz. It could be Sharp's high-quality IGZO IPS panel.

AnTuTu also revealed the other specs of the said device. It will come with the speedy Snapdragon 845 octa-core processor by Qualcomm. It will be paired with Adreno 630 GPU, 8GB RAM, and massive 512GB storage.

It will also run with Android 8.1 Oreo OS out of the box.

The Razer Phone 2 is expected to launch by the end of this year. It will also be available in China.
