Apple sent out media invitation for another big event this month at New York City!

Aside from the annual Apple event we've always been seeing, for the first time, a non-iPhone centric event will be held by the end of the month.

The media invites were being sent out which says that Apple will be launching products that were not introduced on their last event. The launch will be held on October 30, 2018, 10AM (EDT) at Brooklyn Academy of Music, Howard Gilman Opera House.

A lot of people are waiting for product refreshes from the American company since the launch of the latest iPhones. We are looking forward for the new iPad Pro, and updates to several Mac models.

The 2018 iPad Pro models are expected to have an iPhone X-style design with no Home button, slimmer bezels, and a TrueDepth camera system that will enable Face ID for biometric authentication.

However, it is also being rumored that the iPad Pro will still sport a LCD screen instead of an OLED one due to high price of OLED Displays. But, rumors also suggest that it could adopt a USB-C port instead of a Lightning port and that the headphone jack could potentially be eliminated. 

Mac models are also being awaited to have new updates. There are going to be new 12-in MacBookS and based on rumors, Apple has developed a low-cost notebook with a Retina display that can be even more affordable than the MacBook Air. 

The Mac mini is also expected to have an update.
