Razer Phone 2 with RGB backlighting, wireless charging and water resistance launched!
Razer has just launched its second phone, boasting the company’s trademark, RGB backlighting for logo.

Before the device’s official release, it has become available in Amazon Italy on October 10, according to GSMArena.

GSMArena said that while the Razer Phone 2 does not have much upgrade in terms of design from its predecessor, the device sports an RGB backlighting for the logo "Chroma" which can usually be found in Razer’s gaming PCs and accessories.

The screen is similar with the first one, touting a 5.72-inch Quad HD IGZO 120Hz display with UltraMotion, and 2560 x 1440 QHD resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.
Other noticeable changes include Snapdragon 845 chipset to support the gaming phone, also paired with better cooling system with “unique vapor chamber” technology.
The Razer Phone 2 now supports wireless charging, with a battery capacity of 4,000mAh. It should also be noted that the new phone is water resistant (IP67).
The RAM of the phone remains at 8GB, while internal storage is 64GB.
Its dual camera setup, composed of 12MP wide angle and 12MP telephoto cameras, is also positioned at the upper back of the phone.
It runs on Android 8.1 with Nova Launcher as default.

The company together with its online partners will be selling the Razer Phone 2 for USD 799 (PHP 43K) in the United States. Razer has also reportedly teamed up with other carriers in China for the availability of the device in the country.
Pre-orders have already started today, but shipping dates are yet to be announced.
Sadly, there's no word yet if it'll reach other parts of the world like the Philippines.
