Google's future mobile OS?
As the new commit from a Huawei engineer surfaced in the web, it unveiled the Chinese firm has started working on Fuchsia, Google's new operating system which is believed to replace Android. This has been backed as the uploader tagged a number of Google representatives to review the code.
The post in Fuchsia Gerrit stated that the operating system would begin a test run on Huawei's Kirin 970 processor, starting with the
Honor Play.

It noted the test successfully "booted zircon on Kirin 970 based Honor Play smartphone."
Industry sources, however, said that this may take a long time before devices, other than Google's own Pixelbook, can be equipped with Fuchsia operating system.
But the test run with a Huawei smartphone could be considered as a good start given that it was the first consumer Android device.
Since the test began with Honor Play, a device with Huawei Kirin 970, the sector can also expect that the Fuchsia will be compatible with the following:
- Huawei Mate 10
- Huawei Mate 10 Pro
- Huawei Mate 10 Porsche Design
- Huawei P20
- Huawei P20 Pro
- Huawei Mate RS Porsche Design
- Honor V10 (Honor View 10)
- Honor 10
- Huawei Nova 3
- Honor Note 10
