Samsung releases the new flip phone W2019!

South Korea's tech giant Samsung has just unveiled its newest product: a flip phone packed with premium specs.

The W2019 is the latest device in Samsung's flagship flip phone line, with a whopping price tag of USD 2,700. That's around PHP 143,000! 

So what specs does it offer? Samsung said it is powered by Snapdragon 845 and a 3070mAh battery. It touts a 4.2-inch S-AMOLED display for both internal and external, and a dual 12MP rear cameras with variable aperture, believed to be the same optics of Note9. 

It also boasts a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, 960 fps super slow-motion recording, and a dual SIM support. 

Samsung W2019

The W2019 also has 128GB and 256GB of internal storage with 6GB or RAM. The device runs on Android 8.1 Oreo. 

With the hefty price tag, Samsung is also offering concierge features for the W2019, including phone disinfection, and exclusive hotline, and free software fixes. 

Users of the W2019 can also enjoy free screen and battery replacements twice a year. 

It will be initially available in China, but industry sources expect this device to be out in other markets. The W2019 has two color options, Rose Gold and Platinum.
