Unboxing/Accessories

Neat packaging
Neat packaging

The 1MORE Triple Driver BT comes with a neat and premium looking box the Hi-Res and the reddot award 2018 certifications in front.

At right, it has a metal badge with 1MORE branding that also serves as the magnetic seal. After opening the box, you will see blueprint of the earphones which is quite cool.

Inside, you will find the earphones itself, USB-C charging cable, 9 sets of different eartips (3 sets of them are foamies), carrying pouch, 1MORE stickers, and the paper documentations.

Build Quality/Design

Neckband design
Neckband design

The 1MORE Triple Driver BT features an aluminum alloy body with brushed finish. It also has a metal filters on each side and a hole which acts like a vent. The eartips are made out of a soft silicon material.

Mostly good materials

The neckband is mostly made out of a soft and flexible rubber material. The lower left side of the IEM with the controls/mic/hidden USB-C charging port and the right side of the neckband uses plastic.

It has a fairly thin cable that connects the neckband and the earpiece together. We also noticed the lack of a flexible strain relief that could prevent damage from accidental pulls.

It would have been better if they used a more premium/durable braided cable or twisted cable there.

Neat neckband design

Design-wise, it is a clever one. The rubber neckband looks neat and it is flexible enough for better portability. You can easily fold it to fit inside the case included in the package.

The earphones doesn't look bulky at all as well. The earpieces looks stylish for me. The half in-ear design should also help with achieving better overall comfort. I also like that it goes with left and right markings on the earpieces and the neckband

The on/off switch, control button, LED notification, and the USB-C port are easy to locate and reach on the lower left portion of the neckband too.

Overall, build and design is quite premium and neat for the price.

Comfort/Isolation

Good comfort
Good comfort

The rubber neckband is comfortable and lightweight to wear. It is soft and flexible. Plus, even if you sweat, it won't get itchy at all. It could just slide to your left or right at times.

The default tips are also comfortable and easy to wear. It is one of best stock eartips for me. Inside the package, there's plenty of tips to try until you find the best fit for you.

It doesn't require deep ear insertion to isolate background noise. Even if it doesn't have ANC or active noise cancellation, it blocks noise quite well when you pump the volume to around 60 percent loudness.

Besides, sound quality of most headphones will deminish when the ANC function is turned on.

You can still hear the person beside you if he or she will shout. I'm fine with it. At least you can still be alert with your surroundings.

Battery

The 1MORE Triple Driver BT can last for up to 7 hours of battery life. In my actual usage, can last for an entire work day of use. After around 3 hours you will get the "battery medium" and "battery low" after a bit more than 3 hours.

I use the headphones for casual music listening while travelling, when I need to concentrate at work, and to watch YouTube videos or some movies.

I charge it at 9AM daily and around 20 percent of charge will still be left by the end of the day.

Speaking for charging, this headphones has a fast and modern USB-C charging tech. 10 minutes of charge can provide up to 2 hours of music time. In our test, it takes an hour to fully charge headphones.

After about 1 hour the red LED on the top of the left controller will extinguish. It cannot play audio while charging though.

Features

1MORE's Triple Driver BT is easy to setup. All you need to do is press the power button for around 2 second to power on.

After powering on, just hold the power button for 4 seconds to pair it with your Android or Apple or PC devices. There's an LED notification on the left side of the neckband.

You will also find the volume rocker and play and pause button on that side. You can also skip a track by pressing the play/pause button twice or go back to the track by pressing it for 3 times.

It also has Bluetooth 4.2 tech. But, this isn't your ordinary Bluetooth tech. It goes with HFP/A2DP/AVRCP and LDAC. LDAC allows it to transmit high fidelity audio even if it is wireless.

Moreover, it is one of the few with Sony's LDAC audio decoding technology which allows Hi-Res audio streaming for Android and AAC transmission technology to also let Apple users enjoy Hi-Res audio at this price point.

We also noticed that it doesn't have the Bluetooth lag problem compared with other wireless audio solution. It provides tight and steady connection between your earphones and player.

Overall, this headphones is designed to deliver lossless audio quality for Android and iOS even without the wire.

Just note that your phone should have a higher version of Bluetooth to enjoy this tech.

It also has a special microphone array with ENC or Environmental Noise Cancellation technology. It improves the quality of voice for calls and recordings by cancelling background noise.

Sound Quality

Amazing sound!
Amazing sound!

Most Bluetooth or wireless headphones doesn't sound as good compared with wired headphones. BUT, it is not the case with the 1MORE Triple Driver BT In-Ear Headphones E1001BT for us.

The best sounding wireless in-ear headphones for the price!

The LDAC tech is legit! It can transmit great tunes from my music player and it blew me away right off the bat!

It has full yet fun sounding lows with punchy and fast mid-bass. Sub-bass response also has great depth. It has nice and deep sub-bass.

The bass is simply far from anemic sounding, but it won't overpower other frequencies like the mids and highs.

Mids are clean, precise, and crisp. It is full-bodied according to my ears. It is also considered as lively sounding yet pretty analytical. Instrumental separation is clear. We noticed that it is good for both male and female vocals.

Highs are non-fatiguing yet crisp and bright enough. It has enough sparkle when needed as well. I wished that its a bit brighter though.

Soundstage is considered as quite big for an IEM.

1MORE also has an assistant app where you can use EQ presets or custom your own presets for your preferred music listening style.

Overall, this wireless headphones is a good all rounder for music, movies, and even games.

Pros - Great design, good comfort, decent battery life, fast charging speed, best in class audio quality
Cons - Lack of flexible strain reliefs, cannot play audio while charging

LDAC wireless lossless audio + the triple-driver technology is legit. Portable audio brands should follow 1MORE's footsteps soon.
