ASUS ZenFone Max M2 |
Max Pro M2 highlights a 13MP f/1.8 primary camera with 2MP f/2.4 secondary camera. The primary camera is for the colors and details while the secondary camera is for the bokeh effects. The primary camera is paired with PDAF for speedy focus and LED flash.

Single selfie cam |
For selfies, the handset has a single 8MP f/2.0 selfie snapper with softlight LED flash. As expected, face beauty and portrait mode.

Quick thoughts
The cameras of the Max M2 are better than expected. The dual-cameras at the back delivered shots with good amount of details, decent exposure, and pretty good color reproduction.
There are just times where the highlights are blown-out or the shot is a bit underexposed. But this is still better than the camera performance of its higher-end sibling, the Max Pro M2 so far.
We were also surprised with its speedy focus and respectable low light performance with less noise.
The selfie shooter can also deliver shots with crisp details and accurate colors in daylight. Indoor and low light selfies needs improvement, but it can still be considered as decent for the price.
We will test it more in the next couple of days. See you in our full review.
