CES 2019: MSI releases PS63 lifestyle laptop with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0!

In collaboration with Discovery Channel, MSI launched the PS63, a lifestyle focus laptop with several interesting tricks in its sleeves.

MSI stated that it is designed for the business persons and content creators due to its portable design yet powerful performance.

The laptop features a featherweight design with 15.6-inch IPS screen with slim bezels and drop-down hinge design. There are two versions, a variant with 1080p screen and a variant with 4K HDR panel.

Slim profile, powerful specs

The 4K HDR panel can deliver deliver better contrast and more accurate, vibrant colors. It also has a proprietary software dubbed as the "Creator Center" to optimize the settings and tune the performance.

It comes with up to 8th Gen Intel Core i7 processor, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 with Max-Q design and 4GB GDDR5 memory, up to 32GB DDDR4-2400 RAM, and a 4-cell 82WHr battery, 1x M.2 SSD combo slot (NVMe PCIe Gen3/SATA), 1x M.2 SSD (SATA) slot, and 1x microSD card reader.

PS63 highlights up to 16 hours of battery life which is great for anyone on the go. It also comes with Qualcomm's Quick Charge 3.0 technology for faster charging speeds using its slim charger.

It is also Quiet Mark certified to ensure a silent working environment, backlit keyboard, touchpad with multi-gesture support, fingerprint sensor, 2x 2W speakers, WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5, 1x USB-C with display, 2x USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A (1 port with QC 3.0), 1x USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-A, 1x HDMI, 1x mic-in, and 1x headphone out.

The laptop measures at 356 x 233.7 x 15.9 mm and weighs at just 1.65 kg.
