Alcatel's new 5V smartphone highlights two cameras at the back and a single camera in front.

The dual-camera setup consist of 12MP f/2.2 + 2MP f/2.4 sensors with PDAF focus, EIS, AI, and dual-tone LED flash. The secondary sensor is for depth or bokeh effect.
According to Alcatel, its AI can detect portrait, night, low light, food, animals, text, beach, blue sky, backlighting, and more modes.
Then it will automatically adjust the contrast, saturation, brightness, sharpness, and resolution of the photo you took to make it look better.

In front, there's a single 8MP f/2.8 snapper with EIS for stabilization. The f/2.8 front camera sensor of this phones doesn't sound too impressive for low light selfies.
It comes with face beauty that can soften your face and adjust your skin tone.

Quick thoughts
Alcatel 5V can take daylight images with decent amount of details and accurate colors even if it has some noise.
The AI-assisted auto HDR this camera phone made also made some of our against the shots shine. It took highly detailed images with great dynamic range. Even the exposure and white balance are decent for the price.
The bokeh is also quite good with nice edge detection and sweet looking background blur.
Indoor and food shots are also detailed, but saturated. For the price, low light shots are respectable with decent dynamic range despite its f/2.2 lens.
It has AI for low light shots as well.
Selfies are okay in daylight and some well-lit indoor shots. But, it needs improvement. It is not a selfie phone after all.
So far, the Alcatel 5V is a respectable affordable camera phone.
