It comes with a Gorilla Glass 5 protected waterdrop notch screen, Snapdragon 660 AIE SoC, USB-C port, and the 48MP camera. Those features are commonly found on smartphones with a way higher price tag.

Moreover, the Redmi Note 7 has an 18-month warranty which is unheard-of a budget smartphone.

Some sort of water resistance!

But Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun recently revealed that the Redmi Note 7 is more than just that. The handset also comes with watertight seals.

Even if it doesn't have an official IP rating, the above-mentioned seals should protect your Redmi Note 7 from accidental water splashes.

It is the same formula that OnePlus is doing with their high-end smartphones. It covers the sensitive parts of phone like the SIM tray, loudspeaker, and other open ports.
