OPPO is always looking to make noise during MWC and show their contributions to the industry year after year. As a refresher, here are some of the Chinese brand's previous tech reveals.

First up is the SuperVOOC Flash Charge Technology, the improved and better version of the original VOOC. Unlike the original with up to 2 hours of talk time from 5 minutes of charge time, SuperVOOC improved that figure to 10 hours of talk time from 5 minutes of charging. It can fill up a 2,500mAh battery in just 15 minutes as well.

They also have the SmartSensor Image Stabilization that promises allows it users to take the great photos at all times. It is the first ever sensor-based stabilization solution for smartphones with the smallest optical image stabilizer at the time. MEMS Drive, a company specializing in this tech, and OPPO teamed up to create this. SmartSensor allows for better long exposure times for brighter and clearer images.

Continuing with the cameras, OPPO also revealed 5x dual camera zoom and their Optical Image Stabilization solution. The 5x dual camera zoom is the first periscope-style dual cameras for a smartphone. It allows for a lossless 5x zoom which is a huge jump from the more common 2x zoom. Their OIS solution also helped provide the lossless zoom shots and overall clearer photos.

What to expect at MWC 2019

OPPO invested USD 1.43 Billion in research and development this year. Their biggest goal is to embrace the 5G trend and become the first manufacturer to launch commercial 5G smartphones. They also want to improve on their 10x lossless zoom technology. They are developing a triple camera solution that employs sensors with individual purposes namely "Ultra Wide Angle + Ultra Clear Master + Telephoto".

More information is set to be revealed come MWC 2019.
