Facebook and Instagram are down, company turns to Twitter to explain
Facebook and Instagram are both experiencing problems since 12AM (GMT +8) local time today.

Facebook and Instagram's longest outage in history!
At around past 12AM of March 14, I have discovered that Facebook is encountering a problem. First, I cannot send a photo on Messenger both in a group chat and a personal message. Second one was that I can't post any link with thumbnail preview on our page, cannot view the "Scheduled Posts", and other page's interface except with the "Published Posts".
I turned to Twitter and have discovered that people around the world have been experiencing the same issue. Instagram, which is also owned by the tech giant is also experiencing the same problem.
Facebook then turned to Twitter for two updates. The first updated posted by the American tech giant was at 1:49AM, March 14, Philippine local time or 10:49AM (GMT -7).

We woke up to another Facebook's update on Twitter posted at 3:03AM, PH local time or 12:03PM (GMT -7).

As of the moment, Facebook has no any update yet on when the service will be available again. If you've logged off your account on any device, you'll surely cannot log in and will be faced with the same explanation as shown below.

As of writing, Facebook and Instagram are still both down. We can't still send photos or videos on Messenger. WhatsApp, which I don't have, has also been reported to have errors.
For now, we all need to wait for these social media platforms to work well again.

Facebook and Instagram have been reported to be fixed already as of 10:00AM, Philippine time. But posting of videos are still experiencing errors.
Facebook and Instagram had 10 total outage hours today.
